My graduation speech @PIA

2010/05/07 13:11

Good evening, everyone.

I will introduce myself to you.
My name is Sunny and my Korean name is Park Mi Sun.

It’s very nice to be here.
I am so glad to make a speech on behalf of all graduates in refresher course.

I’ve studied here to master English because I wanna teach math in English.

Just two months have passed, but I have to go back home.

This time, I would like to share my special days at PIEI and at PIA in detail.

When I saw the sky in Manila for the first time, I could see the same panoramic moon in Australia.
Actually, it was a good sign (indication).

(I could start living in Baguio half with hope and half with fear.)

On the first day, I introduced myself repeatedly in every class. Although I was fed up with it, I had improved on introducing myself fluently.
After that, my ordinary days were a series of continuous tests, but I tried to do my best.

The reason why I chose PIA was the strict and Spartan curriculum.

It has met my expectation, and all classes were really beneficial and helpful, especially the pattern class, which is the best of all.

Moreover, all teachers were very friendly and good at the new building, so I concentrated on my classes very well.

Above all my former teachers…teacher Fei/ Reg/ Nadine/Joy/Mylene/ Elizabath/ Devy /Dennis / Jennifer B

I would like to express my appreciation for their efforts.

Interestingly, I also participated in “Tinikling”.  As you know that is a Philippine traditional dance,

I will never forget this experience.

Before I came here, I would always hear that Philippines is dangerous.

But I’m very happy because I can graduate from PIA successfully.

After my 1st month, I moved to this hotel, Cooyeesan.

It was my first time to ride in a jeepney, which was rented exclusively for Korean students only.

The fact itself that I got on jeepney makes me happy.

At Cooyeesan, I tried to negotiate if I could stay with my former roommates, but unfortunately I got separated from my roommates.

However, I was given a very nice room to use.

When I arrived here, the special tag they gave embarrassed me. Nevertheless, I always received special treatment anytime and anywhere, so I lived happily for two months.

Cooyeesan’s life is a little bit different from Romel Suites Hotel.
It is bigger and more convenient, because of CSI, ATM, Konica,, and so on..

I can’t believe that I only have 2 days left.
Since I started to stay here, I’ve heard a lot of ghost stories.

Especially in my case, I had to move to another room every month. (I don’t like this situation.)

But it gives me something to be desired, I feel good having an emotion like this.

I’m really thankful for this.

I think, no~I’m convinced that at PIA especially in Cooyeesan, all teachers are eager to teach us.

That’s because I was a mathematics teacher in Korea.

I’d like to appreciate my teachers.
I really want to shout their names at the top of my lungs!! like this…

like this… Teacher Issac / Audrey/ Jonas and Lonnie

And KiPilSung!!! I really really love it!! And  my teachers and classmates…

Teacher, Fleur / Loydarin / Jonas / and Loonie

I’d like to recommend this KiPilSung to my acquaintances.

Of course after classes I felt so…o tired but, I am assured the quality was really good.

It will help me to reach my goal.

I wanna express my gratitude with this address.

I also appreciate Loonie, because he has given me a chance to join the KiPilSung even though this is my last month.

At first I was really frustrated ‘cause I couldn’t go to the bridging course. But despite of that, I have a good chance like this, so… thanks again..

Especially during my 2nd term I thought of this so many times..

In the near future I’ll come back here, so I’ll be a student of expanding course and  I’ll be able to speak English fluently.

With confidence, I’m planning to go to Canada after this short semester for just 2 months.
Good for me that I didn’t go to
Canada first.
Instead, it was fortunate that I came here first. Lucky me!

Of course as you know at first time I had really hard time eating a meal,

But nowadays I can see improving menu gradually.
So I’m happy.

I sincerely hope PIA more and more improve, and of course it’ll be come true.

Although I joined the musical together, I’m sorry to back out that.

Thank you for listening to my little bit long speech.

And Thank Mr. Kim, all of Korean staffs, and all teachers!!

I’ll promise to come back here again if I have a chance..

Thank you~
